I have performed on professional Muramatsu flutes since High School and enjoy the quality of craftsmanship, the abundant tonal colors I can produce and the feel of the instrument in my hands! I currently play on the Solid Silver DS Model Muramatsu with an offset G, Eb roller and C# gismo. The head joint is a solid silver, carved wingtip with excellent response and fullness of sound. I highly recommend the Yamaha Flutes and Piccolos for the beginner and intermediate student. The sound in all three octaves is fantastic and these instruments are sturdy, not needing constant repairs. Especially if the student takes care of the instrument.
